About Me

I am a Mom to four children, ages 17, 16, 16, and 10. Three sons and one daughter. My 'rock' in life, is my amazing husband Chris, and God whom has been by my side. Aside from being a Mom & wife, I am also a nurse. I went back to college and graduated with my LPN in 2007. I am now pursuing my RN degree. (Why I didn't do this when I was much younger....who knows). I have a passion for helping others, and find alot of personal reward in knowing that I can make a difference in someone's life.

Another passion that I have, is volunteering as a support group co-facilitator with the CCFA (Crohns and Colitis Foundation of America). My hope is to help raise awareness in the community and provide support and education for those diagnosed with Crohns, Colitis & Celiac Disease. My family has several digestive diseases, so this mission is very personal to me. I was diagnosed with Colitis about 8 years ago. My daughter was diagnosed with Crohns Disease 2 years ago, and my youngest son was diagnosed with Celiac 3 years ago.

I have always had a love for organizing, just never took it to the extreme that I do now. I recall being a bit OCD since I was a teenager. Mind you, I was much much worse than I am now. My hubby had a nice talk with me, and told me I needed to relax. So, I listened. I was also instructed nicely told by my mother many years ago, that I did not need to straighten the yarn strands on her rug in her camper. Ok, so I did have some issues. I honestly try to be a bit more relaxed about things, however, it does still seem to annoy get to me when things are not in there place. With that said, yes, I love to organize! With all this fun organizing and labeling, my daughter has even started replicating my habit. Love it!

In this fast pace of life, I have realized that I need a reminder to Take Time for Lifes Moments! Thanks for taking the time to stop by my blog.
